Sustainable Shrimp Farming Awareness Seminar in Chilaw

KMN Aqua conducted a sustainable shrimp farming awareness seminar in Chilaw, in collaboration with Biostadt India and Thai Union, bringing together local shrimp farmers and industry stakeholders.

The seminar featured expert resource persons Dr. Chalor Limsuwan, Dr. Phadet Hongmanee, Mr. Ekanant Yuvabenjapol, and Mr. Selvapandian Mahalingam, who shared valuable technical knowledge and global best practices in sustainable shrimp aquaculture.

The programme focused on promoting responsible farming practices that support healthy shrimp growth while protecting the environment. Key topics included sustainable feed and health management, disease prevention, water quality control, and the role of technology in improving farm efficiency and long-term productivity.

Experts from KMN Aqua provided practical, field-based insights tailored to local farming conditions, while Biostadt India and Thai Union contributed international perspectives and technical expertise from global aquaculture operations.
